Gallinules and Water Lilies
Swimming like a duck and walking atop the lily pads, the gallinule forages for vegetation and small aquatic animals. From Canada to Chile, these industrious birds can be found squawking and whinnying as they prance atop the aquatic plants in marshes and ponds. Its long toes make it possible to walk on soft mud and floating vegetation. “Gallinules and Water Lilies,” is a hand-painted digital image created in Spadecaller’s Florida Studio on 12/19/20020.
