The Salmon Crested Cockatoo (or Moluccan Cockatoo) is known for its wonderful temperament and striking appearance. Each bird displays various shades of pink. Native to the Seram archipelago in eastern Indonesia. The cockatoo in this image is perched on a grapevine and is busy pilfering a grape. In the wild they are known to ravage vineyards and orchards.
