The neighborhood is not the same. Years have passed. Between the patio stones, weeds grow. Streaming audio has replaced the sounds of my friends playing stick ball in the street. I came back to see the old house. Wildflowers and tall grass covers the garden. A beautiful morning glory vine triumphantly surrounds a rusty watering can. I hear an old familiar sound. Despite all the changes time has brought, the sparrow still chirps.
