Singing Orchid
In Chinese culture the cricket is revered, and it has been this way for more than 2,000 years. At the beginning of the Tang Dynasty in A.D. 618, crickets were appreciated for their singing capabilities. To the Chinese, the sound of the cricket is not noise; it is beautiful music. Songs have been written around the chirping sounds made by crickets. “Singing Orchid,” is a Spadecaller digital painting.
