The Frangipani Flower
The colorful Frangipani flower surprisingly does not store nectar. However, these flowers are most fragrant - especially at night. Their powerful fragrance attracts the sphinx moths to pollinate them. The flowers without nectar simply dupe their pollinators. The moths inadvertently pollinate them by transferring pollen from flower to flower in their fruitless search for nectar.
