Ruby-throated Hummingbird and Desert Rose
The Ruby-throated Hummingbird breeds from southern Canada across the central and eastern states to the Gulf Coast. It is the only hummingbird that breeds east of the Mississippi River. The Ruby-throated migrates to the tropics from coastal southern Mexico south. Its favorite habitats are woodlands, orchards, and gardens. Their migration north is timed according to the appearance of certain flowers along their route. The flowering plant in this image is an Adenium obesum, more commonly known as a desert rose. It is an evergreen or drought-deciduous succulent shrub in the dogbane family. “Ruby-throated Hummingbird and Desert Rose,” is digital composite and painting.

Both of your desert rose images are superb with the hummingbird here as icing on the cake.
