Young Boomers was originally an acrylic painting in full color on canvas sold in 1988. It is reminiscent of growing up during the cold war. Sitting under our school desks during air raid drills was routine. Anything Russian was evil. Communists were hiding everywhere. Free speech required Senator Joe McCarthy's approval and the HUAC - House of Un-American Activities Committee. Two children sharing an ice cream cone sitting on the curb with the brown shirts marching behind them was the world of the young boomers.
