This poster features a quote from the Talmud: "Every blade of grass has its Angel that bends over it and whispers, Grow, Grow!"******* Inherent in all living things is an embedded drive to grow. Watch a seed break through the earth; notice how its leaves turn to the sun. Observe a childs unrelenting struggle to walk. It is evident that all life is pulled by the call to growth. As the Talmud quote implies, the persistent whisper "Grow! Grow!" beckons all creation. Like a blade of grass, we also grow physically. However, unlike the grass, human beings have the capacity and the need to grow spiritually. We can grow in consciousness. Our desire to connect to others, to live purposeful lives, and to contribute to others is a powerful force. Our ability to do this grows with practice and wisdom. This force of conscious growth is what drives us forward. The consequences of resisting this call for fear of change can be catastrophic - even fatal. Do you hear your angel whispering?
