Wild Marsh Flower and Butterfly
This particular variety of Sagittaria graminea is rather rare. They are often referred to as Narrow leaf American Arrowhead and the plants are most often germinated and rooted in the water with their robust large white blooms extending into the air. Rising from a bed of water ferns these arrowhead flowers make an attractive port for butterflies and bees to land.
