White Tiger And Plum Tree
In Chinese culture, the tiger is the king of the beasts. According to Chinese folklore, the white tiger will only appear when the emperor rules with absolute virtue, or if there is peace throughout the world. The natural birth of a white Bengal tiger in the wild is a very rare event. Bengal tigers live in the dense jungles of India and China. White tigers are Bengal tigers born with a genetic defect that prevents orange pigmentation. The Chinese plum tree (prunus mume) is an Asian tree species. The tree blooms in the winter and early spring and is highly regarded as a seasonal symbol. In the midst of winter, before the snow melts and the swallow returns, plum trees blossom on the barren landscape, enduring the harshness of winter and reminding people spring will come. The fragrant plum blossoms celebrate the vitality of life, strength through hardship, and the hope that life will be renewed. The fragrance of plum blossoms permeates the bitterness and cold, just as adversity tempers the human soul with strength and unyielding courage. “White Tiger and Plum Tree” is a Spadecaller digital painting.
