Mission To Mars Poster
Corporations are competing to transform Mars into a livable planet by spending vast resources and using innovative technology to raise temperature, create a breathable atmosphere, and make oceans of water. SpaceX, is a private American aerospace manufacturer and space transportation services company. Entrepreneur Elon Musk founded the company in 2002 with the goal of reducing space transportation costs and enabling the habitation of Mars. Since the 19th century, a human mission to Mars has been the subject of science fiction. The mission to Mars is no longer science fiction. Proposals and methods to land the first manned cargo party are being drafted. The goal has been set for 2022. SpaceX are making remarkable progress toward their goals of settling on and terraforming the red planet, while utilizing its two moons, Phobos and Deimos. With the launch of CRS-8 in March of 2017, SpaceX vertically landed a first stage on an ocean drone ship landing platform. To successfully re-launch and land the first stage of an orbital rocket makes the mission to Mars a realistic goal. In September 2016, CEO Elon Musk unveiled the mission architecture of the Interplanetary Transport System program, an ambitious privately funded initiative to develop spaceflight technology for use in crewed interplanetary spaceflight. In 2017, Musk unveiled an updated configuration of the system, now named the BFR, which will be the largest rocket in history and will be fully reusable when it debuts in the early 2020s. “Mission to Mars”, is a digital painting by Spadecaller.
