Dr. King is weeping. The "Patriot Act" can make the most benign protest a terrorist act, including Civil Disobedience the last non violent way to protest injustice. On the list of suspicious activities are taking photos, having more than seven days of food, and on an on, soon anyone could be considered a potential terrorist, they'll pick us up, deny legal council, no trial, throw us in secret prisons "indefinitely" basically throw away the key. All in the name of "Keeping us Save" or is that just a convenient excuse to further there really a deeper agenda! Look what they did to Dr. King and JFK... I am worried about Ron Paul's safety.

However, I know by personal experience unfortunately that our CIA was locking people away during the Nixon years in asylums and institutions because of their political views and their threat to foreign policy. The patriot act just made it easier to do to a lot more people and a lot quicker.

Oh yes Matt, that's totally true. The patriot act just makes it now seem patriotic. Most people don't even know what in it.
